Esther Verhaeghe – art concepts was founded in 2013 in Brussels. The gallery is dedicated to contemporary art with a particular emphasis on contemporary women artists. The artists, works and exhibitions question themes such as fragility and vulnerability, presence and absence and how to render the invisible tangible. Impermanence, movement and transformation are the red thread throughout the works and artists exhibited and defended by the gallery. As a gallery we believe in “the power of transformation and resilience of poetic images, those that allow us to reconnect with what we feel essential, first, in ourselves and in our relationship to the world around us.” (Réjean Dorval)
