Founded in 2016 on the initiative of multidisciplinary artist William Kentridge and theatre director Bronwyn Lace, The Centre for the Less Good Idea is an experimental platform for live arts based in Johannesburg. Conceived as a space for creation through collective experimentation and improvisation, the Centre brings together music, poetry, moving image, visual arts and mediation, and gathers artists from a wide range of backgrounds.
