Belgian multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker Baloji presents a new immersive exhibition project. An allegory of a matriarchal society, it takes shape around a mixed reality film that drives you into a multisensory experience between the virtual and the tangible. In a botanical garden, visitors move between sound totems erected amidst remnants of ice and plants. As the system of domination melts away, we become accustomed to a new environment and way of life intersecting feminism, ecology and decolonialism.
