Ouest is a Brussels-based architectural practice, founded in 2009 and led by Stéphane Damsin and Jan Haerens. Their projects are rooted in the dense and diverse context of the city, which they approach with enthusiasm and respect. Their designs aim to enhance urban dynamism and coexistence. In the exhibition Urban Legend, Ouest presents their interest in the city through five of their realized projects. The architectural firm approaches the city as a living organism, fiction and reality at once. treasure chest of stories told by urban planners, writers, and artists, resonating with their own questions and projects. At an opening lecture on October 14, 2025, Stéphane Damsin and Jan Haerens will introduce the exhibition and the accompanying publication.
