José Pedro Croft's career, both as a sculptor and as a draughtsman, has been characterised from its earliest stages by a painstaking constructive process that combines a rigorous formal universe with a dynamic play on the perception of space. Leading figure of the contemporary Portuguese art scene, he was chosen to represent Portugal at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017.
